Family with children deserves better

The breakfast options were plentiful, you know, perfect for kids with all those choices. Plus, the staff were kind, like they really cared about us, making it easy when we needed something.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

Check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite. The room felt spacious, ideal for my family. Breakfast offered a typical selection, though I wished for more variety, especially fresh fruit. Noise from adjoining rooms was a bit disruptive at night. The shower had a small leak, which could be an issue in the long run. Located close to major attractions, which made getting around easy. However, the elevator was out of order during our stay, and a room on the 1st floor would have been appreciated, especially for my comfort. Some amenities felt underwhelming. Overall, a decent stay but with significant areas to improve.

I loved staying here because the LSU Botanic Gardens, just a few steps away, made for a beautiful afternoon stroll, and with the Burden Museum & Gardens only a short walk from the hotel, there was no shortage of scenic peaceful spots to enjoy during my weekend getaway.

We had a fantastic time exploring downtown Baton Rouge, and the kids loved visiting the nearby Tiger Stadium, home of LSU football. The hotel was comfy for our large family, and we appreciated the convenience of the indoor pool for some extra fun.

My wife says that the cleaning could be improved.
